Oysterhaven Event

Teen Activity Day

Saturday 26th June 2010

Oysterhaven Centre, Co. Cork

10am ?4pm

Anaphylaxis Ireland is holding an activity day for teenagers on Saturday 26th June, 2010. It will take place at the Oysterhaven Centre, Co. Cork and will include rafting, kayaking and a range of other activities including land based team challenges. The activities will be led by the experienced instructors at Oysterhaven. There should be plenty of fun for everyone involved and teens are encouraged to bring along a friend. Each participant must bring their own packed lunch. Anaphylaxis Ireland is not responsible for ensuring the suitability or otherwise of food. The cost for the day is just €30 as Anaphylaxis Ireland is partially funding the day.

The event is open to teenagers and places must be booked and paid for in advance by clicking on the link below. Even though there will be representatives from Anaphylaxis Ireland at this event, individual participants will be responsible for carrying & administering their own medication. Parents are welcome to come along!!

First Irish Allergy Fair in the RDS, Dublin

Anaphylaxis Ireland will be included as a partner
charity with Tour de Cure for 2010

Derick Whyte, one of the founding members of the "Stephen Roche Tour de Cure" has confirmed that Anaphylaxis Ireland will be included as a partner charity with Tour de Cure for 2010.

Please make a note in your diary for Saturday May 8th 2010, as Tour de Cure's 2010 cycle event takes place in Midleton, where they are expecting over 1,000 cyclists on the day!!! Dublin Support Group Meeting

Dundrum Methodist Church, Ballinteer Road, Dublin

Saturday 6th March 2010

Please note that everyone is most welcome to attend, however, we would ask you not to bring children under 16 to this meeting due to the nature of the discussion.?This is to facilitate other people who are attending, who feel unable to speak freely when youngsters are present.? Teenagers/young people will be facilitated at appropriate workshops later in the year.

The Irish Anaphylaxis Campaign will be hosting a National Seminar

'LIVING WITH ANAPHYLAXIS'

on Saturday 29th November 2008 from 9.15 am - 4.00pm in the Clarion Hotel, Dublin Airport.

Dublin Support Group Meeting
Please note the next Dublin Support Group Meeting is scheduled for Saturday 7th June 2008 in the Dublin Skylon Hotel Drumcondra from 2-4pm.

Cork Support Group Meeting
Please note that the next Cork Support Group Meeting of the Irish Anaphylaxis Campaign will be held on Wednesday 21st May 2008, in Room 6, SMA Parish Centre, Wilton, Cork. The meeting will run from 8pm to 9pm. Following this, there will be coffee downstairs in the centre.

CORK FAMILY FUN DAY

A Family Funday will be held on Sunday 27th April 2008, from 4-6pm at the Village Playhouse, Model Farm Road, Cork. This event is aimed at children up to 14 yrs, and includes an indoor play area & indoor soccer. Tennis coaching will be available on the day (don't forget your racket!!). Further details available soon. Please note that pre booking will be essential.

DUBLIN EASTER FUN DAY

The Dublin Support Group are organising an Easter Fun Day in the Grand Hotel, Malahide on Sunday 30th March 2008 from 3 - 6 pm. The party is suitable for children up to the age of 12 yrs. Admission is free but a donation of €20.00 per family would be appreciated. If you wish to attend please contact our helpline on 0818 300 238 or email info@irishanaphylaxis.org before Friday 7th March 2008.

Please note that places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Due to the varied amount of allergies, food will NOT be permitted into the hall. All children must be accompanied by an adult and are their responsibility.
